Join us on February 27, 2009 at the Water's Edge Resort in Westbrook, CT, for a highly interactive one-day workshop on this new method of assessment that captures the imagination of managers and executives like never before.

The workshop is highly interactive, blending conceptual instruction, hands-on exercises, small group work, and case studies. Complete your certification after the workshop by delivering your first LVI feedback session with a real manager under the supervision of a highly skilled and experienced LVI Master Instructor. The certification includes:

1. Introduction to the LVI assessment model, survey and feedback report.

  • Conceptual orientation to new approach to feedback and development
  • Page-by-page tour of the LVI survey and feedback report.
  • Discussion of how to interpret results
  • Practice interpreting sample reports
  • Tips for how to leverage LVI feedback to do the outer and inner work of development

Past participants have found it helpful to read the Sloan Management Review article Developing Versatile Leadership prior to the seminar.

2. Practice session, in which you receive one-on-one help preparing for first use of the LVI for one hour by telephone.

  • Prepare to give a real manager LVI feedback, identify key themes and create a session game plan.
  • Review that report with Master Instructor and prepare materials for feedback session.
  • Discuss your summary, make additional observations about the data, and get pointers for how to conduct the session.

3. Post-course follow up, a one-on-one debrief of feedback session and gap analysis (30 mins, telephone-based).

  • A day or two after first feedback session, we'll conduct a phone call to discuss how it went
  • You'll receive clarifications and additional resources as needed.

Primary Audience:

This session is most beneficial for leadership development professionals responsible for the assessment and coachings of managers, executives, and high potentials.The audience includes executive coaches, leadership consultants, and program trainers as well as HR and talent management professionals.

Requirements:

  • Education, training, and experience in the behavioral sciences or adult learning and education
  • Experience facilitating 360-degree feedback interpretation and individual development.
  • The LVI is not suitable for entry-level professionals with little experience with feedback.
